Ubisoft shuts down Tom Clancy game
Last year, Ubisoft launched Elite Squad, the mobile version of Tom Clancy with such characters as Ghost Recon, Rainbow six, splinter cell, Endwar, H.A.W.X, The Division. Just under a year ago, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Marvel Avengers would be shutting down.
The development team announced that by October 4th, 2021, the servers will be shut down, and no new content would be released because the game is no longer sustainable. Right from the initial release, the game had been met with criticism for having a cinematic likening of Black Lives Matter to terrorism; as a result, Ubisoft had to remove the imagery, apologizing to the public. The Elite Squad has been described as a generic game that hasn’t attracted a great player base.
However, the overarching concept of the game is being revamped in the released XDefiant with favorite gameplay notes from Overwatch and Call of Duty. This game will be tested beginning August 5th.
It hasn’t been an easy journey for Ubisoft of late. It had announced a platform for releasing Assassin’s Creed games, but the KotakuToday coverage exposed the slow-motion chaos arising from an Assassin's creed co-developer. This comes after a setback in several of Ubisoft’s games alongside harassment issues that have resulted in a French lawsuit. It would have been wonderful if shutting down all this ‘woke’ culture was just as easy as shutting down Elite Squad. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and Ubisoft’s woes will not be ending any time soon.

Netflix to host a gaming service on its platform
Netflix has announced that it will be venturing into video games services with ad-free games for mobile devices in addition to its existing services. This will be at no additional cost to its subscribers. Netflix has had its streaming service since 2007 and in 2012 when it released its first-ever original show, and this will be its most significant expansion into a different niche of entertainment.
Netflix has mapped out ambitious plans to enter the gaming industry with a vision for console games for PlayStation and the Xbox. But it has assured us that gaming would not be a new way to charge its subscribers for more money.
Before this time, Netflix has been known as the world’s biggest video subscription service providing a platform for TV and movie companies, but with time, several other similar services have arisen in competition. Netflix has recognized gaming companies like Fortnite and User-produced video company YouTube which pose great competition commanding massive entertainment hours.
With the pandemic last year, the gaming industry witnessed a massive boost in revenue, one bigger than movies and American sports combined. With this development, Netflix is set to hop on this opportunity to provide gaming services to its subscribers.
Other companies such as Amazon, Apple, and Google have each invested in a game-streaming service. Still, Netflix’s service would be unique because of its one and only subscription, unlike others who offer their gaming services as separate subscriptions.
The primary focus for Netflix will be mobile games, and this will be available for all Netflix-supported devices. This is inclusive of PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles and desktop computers and TVs.
It is not sure when this initiative will be fully implemented as it is still in its early stages, and it will take a couple more years to fully develop. Still, a Bloomberg report puts this estimated time to be within the following year.

Pokemon Go fest 2021 reels in $20 million in two days
Pokémon’s 2021 GO Fest was held between 17th and 18th of July. Several fans gathered for the virtual hunt on the pocket monsters with such a huge success that the event generated over $21 million in the two days it was held. It was confirmed by the developer, Niantic, that about 1.5 billion Pokémons were caught that weekend, including Mythical Pokémon Meloetta as well as some previous legendaries. The app was said to have its most profitable weekend, with tickets costing just about $5 worldwide. The event of both days had players meeting new Pokémon, dealing with the mythical Pokémon Hoopa, and posing as concert director of special research tasks.
Pokémon players have spent about $5 billion in total in the last five years up till 2021, with its players spending up to $731 million in 2021 across Google Play and App store. This year, the Pokémon GO festival was created in over 20 cities worldwide.
Asides from the 1.5 billion Pokémon caught during the Fest, over 900 million PokeStops were made, 23 million raids were made, and about 125 million kilometers were walked. The GO Fest may be over, but players were able to unlock lots of bonuses. Ultra unlock bonuses began on the 23rd of July and enabled players to finish the 24 global challenges that were hosted in the 2021 GO Fest Global Challenge Arena. We anticipate three more weeks of content with themes with more content and surprises.
The Pokémon company may have some good news to share in the coming future regarding Pokémon UNITE that was just launched on Nintendo Switch. MOBA ,which will be free-to-play, will be launched in September for android and iOS phones.

Not many of us would prefer city apartments to a tiny farm, especially when it looks so gorgeous. The house has 2 bedrooms and is under 100 tiles. The garden contains a glass greenhouse, beehives, various bushes, and trees.
There is a place for gardening if you want it. You may simply enjoy the beauty of the house you are living in or try to gather fresh veggies and fruits.

Outside the house, you will find a garden, a pool, and a balcony. Near the pool there is a table for dining and two canopy chairs. It looks creative and extremely compact.
OctoBinx’s Mushroom House
Who does not want to live in a mushroom? It looks magical, it feels magical, and you can become a part of this fairy tale. While the house looks like it belongs to fairies, your Sim may live in it with comfort.
Just check out this incredible door with moon and star stained-glass window in it. The small balcony on the second floor provides extra space. You may sit down and relax under it, enjoying a rainy day.
Laireen’s Oasis
This tiny house was probably inspired by one of the retro homes from the 50s. It is placed on 64 tiles area, and it looks even bigger than the others. There is a bathroom, kitchen, lounge, and a double bedroom. Everything is separated.
In the yard, you will find BBQ, bar, seating for everyone who wants to relax in this sunny paradise. It was specifically designed for the desert. The house may look simple, but it is still perfect.
Simarchy’s Tiny House
This house is 2x2, with 1 tile bathroom that looks like a hippie shelter. It is vivid and cozy, and well… absolutely small. Its 4 tiles size makes other tiny homes look gigantic. Every part of the space is well-though and usable.
This house contains a 1 tile bathroom, a room that can be called “lounge, study, and bedroom”, and a kitchen with microwave and fridge. You may use the study table to eat there. The apartment is perfect for some savvy students or busy office workers.
Kate Emerald’s Strangerville Tiny House
This house was built on 8 tiles area. It looks tiny and tall. The house contains a small bathroom, bedroom. It has a dresser, desk, and even a lounge.
The designer did not forget about some comfort things like microwaves and fridge. The outdoor area is decorated with exotic trees and flowers. There is even a small dining table in the yard.
RGR Gaming’s Triplets
Triplets are not simply one house. This is 3 different tiny houses combined in one, with a total area of 30 tiles. And they all still count as one. The designer offers the living space for 6 Sims, 2 Sims in each house. This is a perfect option for players who want to organize a tiny home community.
Every house is different. They are colored differently, and the combination of furniture is different as well. Yet, each of them has everything Sims may need for their comfortable living.
Ninnster’s Teeny Tiny Treehouse
This is the second fairy tale looking house, after the Mushroom, we all want to live in. The treehouse is a dream that comes from childhood. It is slightly bigger than Mushroom, as the house is placed on 32 tiles.
The house was made for beautiful landscapes of Granite Falls. And if you want to relax in the woods, there can be no better place to do it. Indoors and outdoors, this house is a masterpiece. You have to check out the tiny pond, surrounded by stones. The house can handle 2 Sims inside. Yet, pay attention that there is a Murphy bed.
Simproved’s Huge Micro Home
This designer usually builds outstanding but enormous houses. You may only imagine how hard it was for her to create a micro home. Once she even created a Hogwarts replica. This time, Simproved did her best to turn tiny space in huge.
Her house stands on 25 tiles. And it looks massive, thanks to the tricks with windows and roofing. It is made completely from glass roofs. You have to see it for yourself.
DrGluon’s Shoe House
Shoe House is definitely a great idea, especially when you are limited in space. And while it looks rather extraordinary, this house is completely functioning. It stands on 31 tiles.
Inside the house, there is a bathroom with stairs that leads to the kitchen. You will find the lounge there as well. It is downstairs.

PUBG Mobile 12 Season Features
PUBG Mobile developers just released an incredible 11 season that we’ve already appreciated so much. On March 9, 2020, they released the new, 12th season with even more surprises. Developers took an in-between seasons’ week to present it.
Players have high hopes, as this season is a part of the 2nd-anniversary celebrations of PUBG. And taking into consideration that each season usually lasts for 2 months, you have plenty of time to join the game. Just don’t wait for too long. There are numerous updates made by developers that can easily be considered as part of the pact. Check out extreme cold or colorblind move, for example. And don’t forget about the death camera.
Pass Rewards
Some of the rewards have been leaked in the net for some time. And all devoted players couldn’t wait to see them. So, after the pass could finally be unblocked, thousands of players received the new skin for the QBZ rifle.
Take a look at the Robotic skin. There will be neon lights on the number 12, as it is made especially for the anniversary. This outfit and a rifle look extremely rare and awesome. Don’t miss the anniversary items.
Developers offer you to choose whether you want one or two sets. They improved the purchase option and interface. Now, the game supports Exclusive Vouchers from events. DBS Shotgun

The new season brings more fun. Literally! There are 3 new amusement parks that are added in the Erangle classic mode. They are old-school parks randomly placed on the map of Classic Erangle.
Amusement parks will have interactive arcade machines. They will also be added to the main towns on the map. You can activate them with Tokens. Besides, there will be attractions like:
Space War;
Hunt Game;
Shooting Range;
Reverse Bungee;
Trampoline;
What’s in the Box.
In the center of each amusement park, high-rise Reverse Bungee will be built. Visitors of the park can be shot in the air, and use the parachute to fly down. You may go to the same machine several times.
The Arctic Mode
This is something all the players were waiting for in PUBG. This mode is based on Classic, but with severe arctic storms that appear suddenly in Vikendi. To survive, you have to protect your body from freezing. Use all the means available to you or your health will decrease:
Gather branches that you see to light the fire, and use the light inside the house;
Catch the chicken, roast it on fire, and consume it to raise your body temperature;
There are heat packs and heaters in the game, so don’t forget about them.

Brothers in Arms

It will be an exclusive feature that will allow retrieving the lost data in case something happens to the software. At the moment, there are no specific dates on when this feature will come our way. Once everything is clear, we will get an official announcement from the company.
Considering how much time a player can spend in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it’s certainly a good idea to be able to back-up save data. While it’s still unclear when this update will see the light, it probably won’t be too long from now.
