If you look forward to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, there may be a great update coming your way. According to the company, players will get an opportunity to back-up save data in the future.

The source of the news is the Japanese website for Animal Crossing. According to the information provided by Nintendo, the company currently considers enabling the software to back-up saves for players who are members of Nintendo Switch Online. It will be an exclusive feature that will allow retrieving the lost data in case something happens to the software. At the moment, there are no specific dates on when this feature will come our way. Once everything is clear, we will get an official announcement from the company.

Considering how much time a player can spend in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it’s certainly a good idea to be able to back-up save data. While it’s still unclear when this update will see the light, it probably won’t be too long from now.
